In possibly one of the greatest season finale we have had on American Idol, the fans all came together to witness history in the making. Two talented finalists, Kris Allen & Adam Lambert, stepped up to the plate to put on a star-dozen performance & await to hear who will become the next American Idol? The finale had many special appearances {Queen Latifah, Carlos Santana, & Kiss} to the award cermonies {Nick Mitchell, Tatiana Del Tora, & "Bikini Girl} this would be a finale no one would ever forget.
Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer and actor from Los Angles, California. Lambert auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in San Francisco, California. After passing through his initial audition, Lambert was voted into the Top 13, joining fellow Group 2 performers Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen. Lambert & Allen became roommates in the Idol mansion, with Allen stating it was due to their neatness. During Michael Jackson week, his performance lead to praise from all four judges, with Paula Abdul predicting he would go on to the finals. The following week, Lambert's next performance received praise from Randy Jackson, Dioguardi, & Abdul. Though Simon Cowell called it "indulgent rubbish." On Motown night, Lambert distanced himself from his rocker persona, singing a slowed down, acoustic version of his song. The judges all liked it, and Smoky Robinson, the week's mentor & the original singer-songwriter, gave Adam a standing ocation. For his Top 8 performance, because the show had exceeded its time slot, only Cowell gave a critique on his performance. For his second Top 7 performance, it delivered what DioGuardi described as his "most memorable performance," while Cowell described his vocals as "immaculate." Abdul was reduced to tears, with host Ryan Seacrest joking that Lambert had melted her into a "pool of Abdul." In his Top 4, Lambert was the first to perform. Cowell commented, "that was one of my most favourite performances... nobody can top that now," while abdul, punning on the song's title, described Lambert's performance as "a whole lotta perfect."
Season 7 American Idol winner David Cook stated that Lambert and Allen are his favorites of Season 8. Country music singer and actress Reba McEntire has echoed the same opinions, also adding Iraheta to her list of favorites. Photos of Lambert kissing a man were shown and discussed by conservative commentators on "The O'Reily Factor," they agreed that the images would likely have no impact on the competition because the focus remains on the singers' talent. Lambert confirmed that the photos were of him, stating he had nothing to hide and has always been open about his life. For his top three show, Lambert chose to sing at his alma mater, Mt. Carmel High School. While there, he performed two best-selling songs by Michael Jackson and Tears for Fears. After his performance, San Diego mayor Jerry Sanders declared May 8 "Adam Lambert Day." Lambert would later perform a medley with rock band Kiss during the final episode.
Kristopher Neil Allen, known as Kris Allen, is an American singer-songwriter from Conway, Arkansas. Prior to Idol, he self-released a 2007 album entitled "Brand New Shoes." Allen audtioned for the eighth season of American Idol in Louisville, Kentucky with his brother Daniel, who didn't make it to Hollywood. He peformed a song by The Jackson 5, during Hollywood week as part of a group named White Chocolate, which included fellow finalist and semi-finals roomate Matt Giruad.
Allen was voted into the finals along with Lambert & Allison Iraheta on February 26, 2009. He has received many compliments throughout the competition for his folk-inspired interpretations of modern pop songs, and has played several instruments during his performances, including the acoustic guitar, the electric guitar, the keyboard, and the piano. Randy Jackson has compared him to Jason Mraz. His performance as part of the Top 11 earned praise from the judges, with Simon Cowell commenting "I am genuinely beginning to think you have a shot of doing well in this competition." On the Top 9 show, he performed his own arrangement on a keyboard, with a few musicians on state, which earned praise from the judges. Cowell lauded it his "best performance so far." On the first Top 7 night, he chose to sing an Oscar-winning song from an indie film. While Jackson described it as "pitchy from note one," Kara DioGuari declared it "one of your best moments ever." Due to time constraints, Paula Abdul and Cowell did not comment. But on the following night's results show, Cowell stated "Kris, you were brilliant." On the second Top 7 show, Allen brought back the guitar for the fourth time and performed an original, acoustic song, complete with bongo drums and the band on stage. This earned praise from all four judges, with Abdul remarking "'There aren't many men who are willing to shop in the women's department. You shopped and found a perfect fit." For his second Top 3 performance, Allen impressed the judges with another accoustic arrangment of Kanye West's song, prompting Jackson to state that he prefeered the original cover version. Simon Cowell agreed & said, "I had written you out of the competition but that has changed after that performance."
After being voted into the Top 3 Finalists, Kris Allen returned home to Arkansas and his hometown to film the material for the next 2 American Idol episodes. Allen was greeted by a crowd estimated to be greater than 20,000. Allen performed concerts in Little Rock and Conway, playing many of his popular songs during the competition at his venues; he even performed at the local Fox News studio. He performed all of his songs with the guitar.
When it came down as to who will be the next American Idol, America has spoken. The winner of American Idol 2009 is.......... KRIS ALLEN!!! Kris Allen has always been the underdog, knowing he could never match up to Adam Lambert's vocals & talents. But in the end, the Underdog rose above the ranks & crowned the new American Idol. Though Lambert was announced the runner-up, he has proven that he deserves to release record-albums & perform in big concerts. Big things are happening for these two & we can expect to see great things from them during the Summer Tour. So for the final time of American Idol, I have one last thing to say for both Kris Allen & Adam Lambert: no matter what roads lie ahead, break a leg!

Glee Episode 1 Recap
While tuesday night would be one night before we announce who will win American Idol in season finale, TV viewers were introduced to brand new series of singing stars. While they may not be introduced as American Idol contestants, they were the stars of a brand new musical comedy TV series entitled: GLEE!!! Premiering on FOX, Glee focuses on a high school show choir, also known as a "glee" club, set within a high school in Lima, OH.
In a world where the jocks rule the school & the outcasts are treated poorly, one high school Spanish teacher Will Schuester {Matthew Morrison} decides to take over Glee Club {entitled "New Direction"}, to give the outcasts a chance to express themselves. The new Glee club members include: manuel wheelchair user Arty Abams {Kevin McHale}, aspiring talent Rachel Berry {Leah Michele}, stuttering student Tina Cohen-Chang {Jenna Ushkowitz}, gay member Kurt Hemmel {Chris Colfer}, rival of Rachael Mercedes Jones {Amber Riley}, and the all-star quarterback with passion for singing Finn Hudson {Cory Monteith}. With Glee club making its return, Shuester needs to form the greatest glee class in order to make their way to nationals.
Along the way, they run into several road blocks that stand in their way. The High School football/cheerleading squad are especially against the idea of reforming Glee Club. Sue Sylvester {Jane Lynch}, head coach of the "Cheerios," looks to make sure Glee Club falls, along with head cheerleader Quinn Fabray {Dianna Argon}, who wants to take Finn for herself. Meanwhile, Finn is stuck between fulfilling is dream and playing with the football team, especially Puck {Mark Salling}, who disapproves of Finn joining Glee Club. While Glee Club deals with personal issues, Schuester deals with his struggling relationship with his wife Terri {Jessalyn Gilsig}. At the moment, Schuester has a secret admirer in the form of OCD guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury {Jayma Lynch}. New Directions faces a tough road ahead, so all they can rely on is each other to make it through to the end.
Even before the show aired, Glee was already on the top most talked about shows of the decade. Ranked among the top trends on Twitter. Over the entire hour, the Glee Pilot actually drew an average of 10 million viewers. With top views like that, we can expect to see great things to happen for the new members of Glee.
Glee will make its return as we progress through the first season. Relationships will dwindle while tensions rise. But these outcasts know the only way to battle through the pain is through teamwork, trust, and friendship. Until then, I have one last thing to suggest for these glee members: as we say in show biz, break a leg!!!

Though neither have made it to Top 3, with the acception of Adam & Kris, the American Idol judges have given them full priviledge to perform in the summer tour. Last Outlet Response
After recently agreeing to do a final project for 700 points, it was quite clear that Mrs. Stoklosa thought the students weren't taking it seriously. All they had to do was do a Wiki & power point based on whatever topic we want. With only a few weeks left of school, this is our last chance to prove how creative we are. 700 points can ultimately change our grade point average, like earning a $700 dollar bonus for best work.
Especially for students who haven't done well in class, this can ultimately alter the very fabric of what makes you a student. Succeeding in such a project can ultimately prove you learned something in this class. That's why I have been hard at work preparing a wiki based on a community theater group. Ever since being involved with the group, I have gotten to learn of their theatrical history, made good friends with the cast, and especially paved the way for a future stardom in the theatrics. It's not like any subject, but merely the idea that defines who I am as a person. It doesn't matter what satisfies you, as long as whatever you choose represents who you are.
With only a few weeks left, this is the last chance to do something extraordinary. Just put your heart & soul into your masterpiece, picture the work in your mind, & then just put it all together like a crossword puzzle. As long as you have the idea in your head, nothing can stop you from doing the impossible. As Michael J. Fox once said, "If you set your mind to something you can accomplish anything." Just do the best that you can & do whatever it takes to make the best project {except cheating or stealing ideas!} Until then, break a leg!
AMT Musical Ideas
After the success of AMT's musical, Ragtime, we now have our eyes set on some brand new shows for the AMT fans. There have several rumors that AMT plans to do "Kiss Me, Kate" sometime next year. As a Cypress Bay AMT student, I am proud to say the rumors are true. Kiss Me, Kate will make it's presence known when it hits the stage in 2010.
Until then, we still need to decide on what we should for the first semester. Mrs. Lutwin is currently brainstorming on some ideas for musicals. Rumors are it might be "Dreamgirls," after hearing the music playing during the past four performances of Ragtime. So what I ask of you is to post some of your ideas directly to Mrs. Lutwin herself. If you have suggestions that you would like to make, don't hesistate to ask. Just look up her email on the faculty section on the Cypress Bay website, write any title of any broadway musical & let Mrs. Lutwin know how you feel.
AMT relies entirely on the fans since the day it first formed in Cypress Bay. We want the new year to have some memorable performances for students entering their senior year & students just joining in the class. We all have a voice & we all must be heard. Send Mrs. Lutwin your ideas & you can never go wrong. Until then, I only have one thing to suggest: break a leg!
Drama Banquet Coming soon
As the end of the year comes in a few short weeks, the AMT group looks to put on a huge celebration after their recent musical, Ragtime. With the success from our 85 talented kids, Mrs. Lutwin & Mr. Maas have earned enough savings to hold a special banquet in honor of their performance.
Each student from the class are allowed to bring their family & friends to watch in honor of their success. No tickets are necessary, but they must bring one entree or drink to serve to the guest. If a student is planning to bring drinks, it is reminded that they should bring TWO or FOUR 2 litter sodas. As far as entrees go, you can bring whatever you'd like as long as it's delicious for the rest.
We are also pleased to announce that a special award ceremony will take place. On this glorious night, the class of '09 will announce who will leave as the AMT President, Treasurer, Historian, & Vice President. We will also bring in the 411 on "Best Actor," "Best Actress," "Best Techie," & Best Thesbian." This wondrous evening looks to be the finest that we have had in the history of Cypress Bay. It shall be a night that no one, not even seniors, will ever forget. Till then, I have on thing left to suggest: break a leg!!
American Idol Update
For the past few months, our new season of American Idol has introduced the fans to some of the finest talent we've ever had in history. As the Top 13 were reduced to 10, we are now left with 3 finalists in American Idol. They wanted to prove that they can go all the way like Jordin Sparks, David Cook, & Kelly Clarkson. They were all fan favorites in the competition; no one wanted them to leave. Unfortunately, one of these contestants would have to step off the stage & leave forever. Surprisingly, the bottom two were the contestants who many thought would be in the finals: Adam Lambert & Danny Gokey. Out of the two talented contestants standing before them, the one packing the bags is: Danny Gokey.
Daniel Jay Gokey, known as Danny Gokey, is an American singer and church music director fro Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Gokey rose to national fame with hi participation in the eight season of American Idol. On August 8, 2008, he auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri, along with his friend Jamar Rogers, who is also from Milwaukee. Both made it through to Hollywood, but Rogers was eliminated from the competition prior to the semifinals. Gokey was recently nominated in his state of Wisconsin for WAMI {Wisconsin Area Music Industry} award for best Christian/Gospel Artist of the Year. However, he lost to Chad James, a local Christian artist in April 2009 during his run on American Idol.
Danny Gokey was given mostly exceptional opinions. During his Top 4 performance, Paula Abdul gave him an "A for effort." He made it to the top three, along with Adam Lambert & Kris Allen, but was eliminated from the competition. Of course, he didn't get into the competition for some big time contract or make the big bucks. He went into the competitio, to dedicate his performance to his wife, Sophia Martinez. A huge fan of American Idol, she died during routine surgery for congenital heart disease in July 2008. Since then, it's been his goal to make her proud & prove that he can do impossible tasks. This won't be the last time we hear from Danny Gokey, for I predict he will be a greater alumni than any in American Idol history.
As we draw closer to the epic season finale, we are now left with two contestants. Who will go on to become the next American Idol? Only one can accomplish that dream, one will step forth onto the road of greatness. Only you can decide who you want to win. Until then, I only have one thing left to suggest: break a leg!

Mothers Day Celebration
Mothers Day, though not an official holiday, is a tradition dating way back to the early ages of time. A time not only to spend time with a loving, devoting parent but the opportunity to return the favor for all the years she spent caring for you to this day. As we grow older & time dwinles like a thread over a candlelight, we can only look back at all the beautiful moments in which our parent has devoted herself to her children. As Mothers Day being a wondrous day, it's only fair that the children are granted the opportunity to return the favor.
Like just yesterday, my sister & I got up to an early start to prepare a special treat for our mother. To mark this special occassion, it wwas decided that mom would wake up to the soothing scent of a homemade breakfast. With our oven mitts over our hands & a spatula in one, we went right to work on mom's French Toast breakfast. By taking two pieces of bread, we placed each slice into a bowl of eggs, allowing the bread to soak for flavor. Then, we carefully laid it out on a pan so the toast can simmer over the heat. We made sure to gently press the slice for faster toasting & flipped it over the other side to toast the other. After repeated processes, all we needed was a few slices of bananas for decoration & our mom was bestowed a well-deserved breakfast.
It just shows how much dedication & hard work we endured to show our mother our appreciation. If it weren't for her, none of us would be where we are today. I wouldn't have been able to get through most of my classes without her support & for that I thank her. Without her, I wouldn't even be sitting on my desk, writing these blogs, all while typing about anything I want. So I satnd before my vow starting now. Everyday when mom comes to give her support, in any way from now, I'll pay her back someday & some how. That's what makes mothers day a special time to get together.

Memories response
Ah memories, you gaze into a photograph of your graduation picture & remembering what it's like to be a youngster. It's true that though your body changes, the mind can never replace the memories we made over the years. Like the time you had your first crush in elementary school or the time you started taking drama as an 8th grader. So many ways to treasure our memories, no wonder the best ones are never forgotten.
With the advancement of technology these days, we now have ways to store any of our memories on the computer. In this case, we can download photos we take on class trips & store it on a special hard-drive. Photos saved on a scrapbook tends to wear away with age, so you always want a place where pictures can last awhile. Not like tech is such a huge replacement, merely a way to store pictures that's all it is. Personally, as fun it would be to save pictures on a computer, sometimes I can be a bit old fashioned. At least I like to save memories in my own way if you know what I'm saying.
Memories don't have to be from a class trip or family vacation, it could also be from a video game you play when your stuck in bed all day. Whenever you get far enough at one portion of the game, you can always save your file so you never have to start over. With the addition of memory cards, saving your gaming progress has become easy for kids of all ages. Even adults find it useful when their done with house work or yard work {at least to relax in some way}.
It just goes to show that memories come in all shapes & sizes, especially when it comes to the addition of technology. So many ways you can store your memories these days. More users are even storing their pictures or videos on facebook twenty four hours a day! So basically as long as you can keep your memory strong, it can never slip from your gaze. Technology can never replace anything; it does help out at least.

American Idol Update
Rock week was a huge week for our top four American Idol contestants this week. With inspiring wisdom from Rock legend, Slash, these four were willing to prove they have what it takes to make it all the way. For much of our competition, they took on the brand new meaning of rock & stepped up to the next level. Unfortunately, the top four was later reduced to three as one contestant was chosen to leave. To the shock & dismay of the American Idol fans, that contestant was none other than: Allison Iraheta!!!
Allison Iraheta is an American singer of Salvadorean descent, who also won the reality TV competition Quinceanera. Iraheta auditioned for the eigth season of 'American Idol' in San Franciso, California. The judges unanimously agreed to put her through to the semifinals. Iraheta was later nominated the "one to watch in this competition" in the semifinals, earning her unanimous praise from the judges. She was the top voted female of Group 2 {along with Adam Lambert & Kris Allen}, advancing directly into the Top 13.
Since the Top 10 performance, Allison Iraheta has earned further praise from the judges. Her performance had Simon Cowell compare her to first season winner Kelly Clarkson. After the first Top 7 night, Allison would rise all the way to the top of the competition. The following night, contestant, Lil Rounds, was eliminated making Iraheta the last remaining female constestant.
Eventually, Iraheta took a few staggering steps further into the competition. It was later revealed that Iraheta would receive the highest or second-highest number of votes. Her duet performance with Adam Lambert received rave reviews from the judges, redeeming her title as a "rock goddess." The following night, Iraheta was eliminated in 4th place, to the shock of many viewers and commentators. Celebrity mentor Slash agreed that Allison didn't deserve to be voted off. She has amazing potential in the music industry, earning respect from Kelly Clarkson & Jennifer Lope for her past performances. We can expect great things to happen to her during the course of time.
Now only three contestants remain: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, and Danny Gokay. Who will be the next contestant eliminated from the competition? Who will rise to the top? Who will be the NEXT American Idol? Until then, break a leg.

Ragtime makes grand opening
Last night, the audience was in awe as 85 students were selected to perform one of the best musicals ever written. With the success of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" last semester, our new cast wanted to put on a play with a big explosion of music and change. A musical that filled our hearts with tear-dropping moments and unforgettable numbers. It's the music that would lead to the start of something fantastic. It is an honor for the cast of AMT to bring to the fans, "Ragtime."
Ragtime tells the story of a family in New Rochelle who are about to witness great events that would change their lives forever. A Negro pianist decides it's their time to deliver justice and rise to the top of the world. An immigrant who came to America with his little girl, who would do anything to help her. Three worlds would collide on that fateful year as New Rochelle tries to adjust, Negroes going to war, and immigrants doing anything possible to become a 'success.'
If you haven't seen Ragtime, your missing out on a 4-4 performance. The AMT class of Cypress Bay worked long and hard to deliver a smashing blockbuster. Through all the drama and conflicts, the cast were able to put it together and deliver what the fans want to see. If you come now, you'll be the first to see grand appearances of the greatest historic figures. Featuring Booker T. Washing, Harry Houdini, J.P. Morgan, Henry Ford, Emma Goldman, Evelyn Nesbit, Admiral Peary, and even The President of the United States!!! This was the music of something beginning. An era exploding, a century spinning. In riches and rags, and in rhythm and rhyme. Prepare for the smashing broadway sensation, "Ragtime" at 7 pm at Cypress Bay High. AMT as we know it will never be the same.

Communication Response
Communication is the key to express yourself and let others know how you feel. Communication allows you to express your feelings or opinions about a certain topic. There are many forms of communication, all of which with a common goal. The only way for people to know what you need or require is to communicate to the individual to express your needs.
Take a certain high school student for instance. Let's say that he just recently got his interim report. Gazing the packet carefully, he finds that he has a D+ in English. Now it's not as bad as an F-, but it's not good either. How can a student improve? Does he need assistance? Or is there something he doesn't know what to study for a vocab quiz? If this kid is struggling for some reason, he must simply ask his teacher for wisdom or advice. Otherwise, he'll continue struggling until he has to repeat another grade.
Take another time for instance. Let's say you pay for your yearbook & they start coming out. The student isn't sure what to do because he's been thinking. Where would you find yearbooks on sale? Even if you find them, you have another dillema. What if you ask for a yearbook & they think you didn't pay for it? Would they remember? Life is a confusing road of questions & problems. So many in fact, that they fill up the gaps of every empty corner of the world. The best you can do is communicate in some way. Ask your own questions & earn your own solutions. That's the way to go.
If you ever face a serious problem, you should always talk to your teachers about it. That what their for, to answer all your questions & bestow their wisdom to help others. They want the kids to pass but they don't know what they need unless they ask their teachers first. Unless they explain what they want to know or what they require, the teachers will think you have it all under control. There's no shame in asking others, no matter how difficult it may sound. When you ask questions, insisting that they lend a hand, there's always an award for your important questions. Until then, I only have one last piece of advice to give: break a leg!

Broward on Broadway presents: Wizard of Oz
One of the essential joys of childhood, and indeed one of the most enduring memories for an adult, is the classic fantasy by L. Frank Baum, with the enthralling title of 'Wizard of Oz.' Whether you were introduced to the four main characters by the original story in book form, one of the many film versions {the 1939 MGM film being the most popular}, or by re-runs on television or cable, you were, no doubt, caught up in its magic and the simple story line with strong values. Its whimsy, humor, pathos, honest emotions, and clearly drawn, unforgettable characters have probably been planted in your memory bank forever.
We hope to rekindle those memories and we will attempt to create the classic special effects in our own, very different and creative way. We hope you enjoy these effects and our wonderful actors of all ages who have traveled many miles for rehearsals and worked incredibly hard to bring you this tale of awe and wonder.
There is much material available these days on the internet about this classic. Though the time was limited due to rehearsals and production meetings, the cast has been able to glean some fascinating tidbits on the history of the story, which they thought you might find interesting. Please enjoy, and then sit back, and allow the fellow members of BOB to transport you to the magical land of Oz!
The role of the Wizard in the MGM film, though played by Frank Morgan, was written with W.C. Fields in mind, and some lines are still written for his cadence. {Famed comedian Ed Wynn was also considered.}
Judy Garland started filming the part of Dorothy in a blonde wig and baby doll makeup, until it was decided that she should play and look more like herself.
Buddy Ebsen was originally cast as the Tin Woodsman, but had to drop out due to being severely allergic to the aluminum powder makeup that they originally used. He was replaced by Jack Haley with different makeup.
The Ruby Slippers are silver in the original story, but were changed to the ruby red color for the 1939 film for the dynamic effect of that color. Seven pairs were used in the filming; only five are known to exist,, and each one is worth at least 15 million dollars.
Over The Rainbow was nearly cut from the 1939 film, and thank goodness it wasn't. This song was ranked #1 in the American Film Institute's list of The 100 Greatest Songs in American Films.
The MGM classic was made to directly compete with Walt Disney's smash hit, Snow White and The Seven Dwarves.
So now that you are also a wizard on the subject of OZ, sit back and relax as Broward on Broadway takes you on a journey you'll never forget... OVER THE RAINBOW!
You can now witness this amazing production at The Ira Kinder Stage at Plaintation High School Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 1:00 pm. Showings run from May 1st to May 17th and you don't want to miss this stunning performance, from our most talented cast this year. Be sure to invite all your friends & tell your entire family, that The Wizard of Oz is now on stage. When your there, just sit back, relax, and break a leg!

Ragtime puts on stunning preview
During the Award ceremony, many students were given rewards and honors for the many achievements they have done this year. These students entering their latest year of high school, have really proven why they will be highly regarded among the Cypress Bay Idol Alumni. But last night's ceremony also marked the students with a special preview of their latest high school production, "Ragtime."
Ever since the start of the new semester, our 85 AMT students have been hard at work putting together the most difficult show since Les Miserables. They sent fliers and adds to convince their school why they should come t0 their shows. They even blogged about their show on FaceBook and MySpace. To really persuade our fans, they decided to put on a special preview during the ceremony.
On this special night, the students of AMT performed their opening number, "Ragtime," featuring the entire cast of their new show. The cast put on an amazing performance, apart from certain times when they were off tempo or too early on their lines. None the less, the overall performance was simply stunning. The fans were amazed of the new talent taking the stand in their lead roles. From Damian Barra as Coalhouse, Jake Winn as Tahte, and Sam Salerno as Mother. Our students were even blessed with guest star performances by Dan Suarez as Booker T Washington, Bryce Lucas as J.P. Morgan, Jonothan Yepez as Henry Ford, and Brittany Rossoff as Evelyn Nesbitt.
These kids and dozens more have shown the audienve what to expect for next weeks' opening show. The cast is scheduled to perform tomorrow for a middle school audience from 8:45 to 12 pm. Be sure to tell all your friends and family about Ragtime & come support these hardworking students. Next week their performing four shows for their school & it will be the most challenging performances in their careers. Until then, we wish the entire cast one request: break a leg!!!

American Idol Update
8 weeks ago, there were 13 contestants who gave it their all to make it this far. Now only five contestants remain standing for the covenant grand prize. After 2 contestants sadly left last week, a new challenge was in store for our top 5.
In our eigth week of the competition, our contestants were asked to perform top songs from the Rat Pack era and were guest-mentored by Academy Award winner and musical artist, Jamie Foxx, former comedy actor now music sensation. The results show last night included performances by Natalie Cole, Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks and Jamie Foxx himself. The bottom three consisted of Matt Giraud, Kris Allen, and Adam Lambert. It was a surprise that these contestants would end up in the bottom three, despite all the votes they made for three of these contestants. Unfortunately, the next contestant going home was noneother than: Matt Giraud.
Matthew Scott Giraud, born May 11, 1985, is a dueling piano player from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan, but was raised in Ypsilanti and graduated Lincoln High School in 2003. He played at clubs at Kalamazoo, where he also graduated from Western Michigan University. He released an album called "Perspective" in 2003 and another in 2006 called "Mind Body & Soul."
Matt Giraud auditioned for the eigth season of American Idol in Louisville, Kentucky. He was considered a judges' favorite in Hollywood, with Randy Jackson naming him among his "top 5" early favorites. During Hollywood week, he performed a Jackson 5 classic as part of a group called "White Chocolate," along with fellow contestant Kris Allen. He did not make the finals initially, but was brought back for the Wild Card show. The judges unanimously lauded his performance and he became part of the Top 13 {along with Anoop Desai, Megan Joy, and Jasmine Murray}. Giraud was also the first and only recipient of the new judges' save for his season on April 15, 2009.
After his Top 13 performance, Kara DioGuardi remarked "I hope we see you for many more weeks." On Top 11 night, his performance provoked Simon Cowell to state "I don't think you've had enough credit in this competition," and compared him to Michael Buble. On the night of the Top 8, Paula Abdul kept her compliments short {due to time constraints} on his performance, simply saying "Two words: Standing O." The next week, however, Giruad received poor reviews from Jackson and DioGuardi. The following night, the results revealed that he received the lowest amount of votes. However, for the first time in American Idol history, Giraud was spared from elimination from the judges utilized season 8's new twist. The consequence of this, for all the constestant, was a double elimination after the second Top 7 night. On that night, Giraud's performance received mixed reviews. Nevertheless, he survived the vote that week and even avoided placing in the Bottom 3. He was eliminated on April 29, 2009.
A new week dawns for the Top 4. Next week is rock week so the contestants really need to bring in their A-game for the next challenge. Both contestants who should be prepared are Kris Allen & Adam Lambert. It was shocking news for these contestants to be sent into the bottom three. Without a doubt it's been a first time for these two. Though Kris Allen put on a seemingly convincing number, he really needs to step up his game to stay in the competition. Fans of Adam Lambert were shock when Adam Lambert was in the bottom 2. Most of the fans were angry and shocked that Adam was in the bottom 2. Adam is without a doubt one of the most impressive contestants on the show & I personally felt he should not have been there. If he wants to avoid being in the bottom again, he needs to put in a stunning number for Rock Week.
Until then, I only have one thing to say for our top 4: break a leg!

How about them Marlins response
It can't be denied that the Marlins happen to be really improving for this season of Major League Baseball. After winning 8-1 over the Ravens, it would seem that the Marlins are merely one step close to winning the World Series. The World Series calls for the top two teams of the season & so far the Marlins seem to fit the bill.
It wouldn't be the first time that the Marlins have made it close to the World Series. They've actually won the World Series when everyone began to doubt them. To some baseball is merely a field of broken dreams. But for these Marlins their dream of becoming champions has been a reality. It just shows that with heart & dedication to the sport of you love, victory is always a rich reward.
Though it is too early to call as to who will reach the World Series, The Marlins clearly have a shot this year. Until I hear more about them, I just have one important thing to say to them: break a leg!
Friends or Not Response
Did you ever here the phrase "it's quality, not quantity, that counts?" A person should never have to feel alone, not while they have a friend who will stay by their side. A friend is someone who you can express your feelings toward & lean on for support. A friend is someone who will listen to you & understand the issue you have gone through in life. When I mean friends, I mean people who I can really count on.
Now this may sound silly, but I have made at least a few friends on YouTube. Like Myspace & Facebook, YouTube is a place where users not only watch videos but can talk to others as well. Most users are big time directors who are glad to listen to suggestions & ideas for movies. For some of my friends on that site they are people I can really express myself too.
If there are any friends I can really talk to it's the kids of the DanDee Show, as well as Damian Barra. He may not run his own web show, but he's a good kid none the less. I've started knowing him ever since the tenth grade. Not only is he a splendid dancer, but he also has the ability to really get into the stage & visualize his surroundings as the setting of the show. He has been involved in many competitions & I have always stood by to support him. Who says friends on YouTube are hard to come by?
It matters not about how many friends you make on YouTube or any website. As long as they are the people you would be willing to talk to for awhile, then it's the quality time that counts. As long as your willing to take the time to express yourself openly & tell your friends how you feel about something. Friends are just the people you will always treasure in your memories & that's something that will always be saved. Until I hear more stories, break a leg!
Inflating Grades Response
Cypress Bay may be known for it's huge number of students, talented and hardworking, with a huge faculty to match. But no matter which high school you attend, you'll find it's always the same. The end of the year approaches & the kids are supposed to really work hard till the end of the year comes. Yet out of thousands of kids, only a few kids have shown their grades are dropping.
In my English class, none of the kids realize that Stoklosa means every word. The kids just don't focus hard enough & their constantly struggling. Most kids tend to slack off & care less about the work. When we work on our computers, I'll bet half the class don't know what to write so they copy form a person's best essay. The kids are constantly struggling, it's crazy! Even when a handful of kids work hard on their work, they find that no one else is willing to follow their example. It's rather sad but it's true.
If you though inflation in the community is bad, you should see the kids grades. It's like my class doesn't have the motivation to prepare for important dates. They claim they have hard time catching up to reading, only to discover that their not even trying to catch up. It's like the class really needs tutoring like from Sylvain in order to get better. I know not everyone in the class is poor, I just don't know who they are.
The end of the year approaches fast so I can only hope the kids can pull off a miracle before the end of the year. Kids are coming to school everyday with Cs & Ds when they should have As & Bs on their report cards. It's not like the kids are completely dumb; however, they really need to set their mind to the task at hand. Unless they change their ways, they'll be slackers for the rest of their lives. The world is not looking for slackers. We look for kids who are going to change our future, to build a better world & ultimately improve the country. If we can't rely on our new generation of kids, our world is doomed. That's why the kids really must work hard in order to reach the passing grades. Until then, break a leg!
Ragtime Progress
With Cypress Bay's play drawing closer & closer with each passing day, the audience is anxious to see how the play will turn out. About 85 talented kids auditioned for this show & they all got parts for the show. Some have been chosen as historic figures, while others were just negroes, immigrants, or members of New Rochelle. Casting has been long over & now we move to the most difficult part of production: REHEARSALS!!!!
I refuse to lie for Ragtime is without a doubt the most difficult show performed in Cypress Bay since Les Miserables. We're talking about songs where kids really need to push their vocals, dances that require quick timing & precision, and for the kids to stop acting like students & become these important characters. But being in the acting business myself, most kids just don't take it seriously.
Ragtime is probably the most important show in our lifetime & no one is taking this seriously. Most of my cast are either goofing off & talking about something unrelated. Some just babble away with no reason & simply forget a step or two. Heck no one even saves their voice for the real performance! Even Mrs. Lutwin has had a hard time keeping the class together, as the pressure began to get to her.
Unless the kids can get their heads in the game & focus, Ragtime will be harder than it should be. The kids really need the motivation to get into character & get with the program. The cast of Ragtime will need all the support they can give, including theater tips & one-on-one conversations. We know this cast will do a great performance, but they must prove that these difficulties will not stand in their way of greatness. It will be hard, but it may be the only way to insure a grand performance. Until then, break a leg.
American Idol Update "And Then There Were Five"
This latest week of American Idol was without a doubt the most important week for our American Idol Contestants. For the seventh week of the finals, the contestants were asked to perform songs from the "disco" category. Most of the contestants did their songs in their own way. Though not entirely disco, most of the contestants {including Adam Lambert & Danny Gokay} got the highest appraise in the group.
But performing music from the disco age was not what made this week a big deal. This week, a great change has come to the contestants. 2 contestants with the lowest number of votes will leave American Idol. This action took place after the judges used their "save" to keep Matt Giraud in the competition. But this time, no one will be saved. Unfortunately for our contestants, the two unlucky ones were: Lil Rounds & Anoop Desai.
Lil Rounds once lived in Memphis, Tennessee, along with her husband and three children. Before she entered the competition, a tornado ripped through Memphis on February 5, 2008, severely damaging her mobile home and forcing the family to live in a motel. Her grandfather once worked with the music legend B.B. King . She says her dream mentor would be Stevie Wonder.
Lil Rounds auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. Although the judges have praised her vocal ability, judge Simon Cowell has raised concerns that she is brilliant even saying "you were even copying the way Tina Turner walks." After several performances, Vote for the Worst announced that they would support Lil Rounds for the duration of her stay. In the top 7, Rounds was later criticized with Simon Cowell saying, "you are not the artist we thought you were," while Paula Abdul said, "you could not have sung more beautiful lyrics; the road has been too long." However, none of their comments were based on Round's performance or vocals. As with the previous week, Rounds spoke back to the judges, chastising them for criticizing her even after she tried to follow their advice. On April 22nd, Lil Rounds was already eliminated with the lowest number of votes.
During his stay on American Idol, Anoop Desai credited his decision to audition to the death of a friend, Eve Carson, who was murdered. During the broadcast of the wild card round on March 5, 2009, he gave a "shout out" to his alma mater and mentioned Eve, as it was the one anniversary of her death. Desai rose to fame with his participation. He auditioned for the show on August 8, 2008 in Kansas City, Missouri, and was selected as a semi-finalist following his "Hollywood Week" performances. Anoop Desai became the farthest an Indian-American has made it on American Idol. Although he was not one of the three finalists chosen out of his semifinal performance group, he returned as a "wild card." The judges saved Desai for last on the Wild Card night and after announcing Matt Giraud has made it to the top 12, Simon Cowell than revealed the twist of Season 8: that Desai would also move onto the finals, making it a top 13. Unfortunately for the #13 superstar, Anoop Desai {along with Lil Rounds} was eliminated after Disco Week.
Disco week was a momentum of heart breaks & heartwarming performances. Some from the 60s who could still have the rhythm to perform the music that made them famous. The night also marked the occasion that David Archuleta returned for a special performance since the 7th season.
Now only five contestants remain. With American Idol reaching it's end, who knows what will happen. Be sure to vote for your the artist you think deserve to win. One vote could ultimately mean the difference between victory & defeat. Until then, break a leg!

Prom Response
The Senior Prom is without a doubt the most important tradition in a student's life. Just before the seniors leave to make their futures, they are gathered on one grandest night to celebrate with a traditional dance. A tradition that has been around since the beginning of time. All the seniors commerate this occasion & arrive to the auditioreum in style. They arrive in dlick limosines, walking down the aisle with their fancy attires, a bougeut of flowers in one hand and their prom date in another. The prom is a time for seniors to come together & celebrate on the most memorable night in their lives.
But the most important tradition of all is the corination of the Prom King & Queen. Undoubtedly, it's the highest honor that a senior student can receive, greater than a class ring or senior portrait combined. The moment the announced seniors walk out that auditoreum, they are leaving in royal fashon. The Prom Night is a moment where dreams are made, love sparks the evening, and the party never ends.
As my senior year draws closer and closer, I can expect such a honored occasion and various senior traditions. With most of my classes already taken and required, my senior year will allow me to experience what makes that year so memorable. To dance in that auditoreum, with the girl of my dreams in my hands, knowing that prom night is the night that always be with me in my heart. The Prom is something that I will first take notice the moment I officially grasp my senior year. Until then, I only have one thing to suggest for myself: break a leg!

Suggestions Response
You know, I'm going to lie. I've always been the one who's spent time making suggestions. Never thought I hear one from another, especially a teacher. A teacher who has shown us a neat way of educating the subject of English. She doesn't just gives us a paper on the changes of America or the Salem Witch Trials. She finds that it would be easy to learn by reading various stories based on the subject we are taught.
By reading the point-of-views from each author, we learn how one particular event changed the lives of the characters, for good or worse. We learn about the hardships they endured, the injustice displayed upon the innocent, and how the road to the American Dream is a difficult quest to follow. Any teacher can give us a list of vocab words to memorize or teach us about literary terms an author uses. But when we read the stories, we're not just learning words or terms. We are reliving the history & the events from each page in the book.
With summer almost near, I cannot lie. This experience was actually a neat one this semester. I've always loved to spend the afternoons reading stories of fantasy & science-fiction. But these stories represent the history of our world. The people who struggle to fulfill their dream, who died for their cause, and the events that memorized the imagination of our ingenuity. The next year in school lies unknown for most students. Some will graduate to create their futures, while others have a few years remaining. Next year is full of possible; no one knows what lies ahead for our minds to face. Until then, for all the students who have worked with Stoklosa, break a leg!
Mister Roberts comes to PPTOPA
If you read the title, you heard correctly. This summer, PPTOPA prepares for it's latest play entitiled "Mister Roberts." Based on the novel by Thomas Heggen in 1946, the title character, a Lieutenant Junior Grade naval officer, defends his crew against the petty tyranny of the ship's commanding officer during World War 2. Nearly all the action takes place on the backwater cargo ship, the USS Reluctant that sails, as written in the play, "from apathy to tedium with occasional side trips to monotony and ennui."
Heggen based his novel on his experience aboard the USS Virgo in the South Pacific during World War 2 and began the book as a collection of short stories. It was subsequently adapted as a play, a feature film, a television series, and even a television movie.
Auditions for the play is taking place this summer at Pembroke Pines. Anyone unfamiliar with the play, you can find the film at any of your local video stores or even your local library. PPTOPA has been known to bringing the fans the most collaborated stage shows in Broward. Once you set foot on that stage, it will become the adventure of a lifetime. Until then, break a leg!
American Idol Update
This week's episode of American Idol was full of surprises for fans worldwide. In Week six of the Season 8 finals, our 7 finalists came face-to-face with legendary film director, Quentin Tarantino. This award winning film director/actor mentored the finalists in their renditions of songs from the greatest films of all time. Most of the competition pulled off award-winning performances, while others faltered under the pressure.
Ryan Seacrest, host of American Idol, presented the bottom three to be: Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, and Lil Rounds. After Anoop was rescued from the bottom three, Matt Giraud was revealed to be the contestant with the lowest number of votes this week. After singing once more, Matt Giraud was surprised when the judges chose to use their 'save' to keep this soulful contestant in the competition. However, tensions rises as we move on to "Disco Week." But this time, 2 contestants will be eliminated next week.
If anyone should be worried about elimination, it's the bottom three contestants. The judges can only use their 'save' once in the competition. Because they used their 'save' for Matt Giraud, they can no longer save any contestant facing elimination. These three superstars must find the right music & a song that will give them the most votes. There is more on the line next week, so our contestants must prepare for the funkiest, disco weeks of all time.
This week's show also brought in Grammy award winner & former American Idol contestant, Jennifer Hudson, and television/music youth, Miley Cyrus. Both artists put on a smashing performance that night. Most of the appluase granted to Jennifer Hudson, who starred in the hit musical "Dreamgirls." Big things are happening this season & who knows what we can expect during disco week. Until then, break a leg.

American Idol Update
Last week's episode of American Idol called for something unique for our 8 finalists. Each contestant would perform a song from the year they were born. Most of the songs came from the late 80's, to a standing ovation from the crowd. Some have made the grade, while others took the fall. The bottom three that night were revealed to be Anoop Desai, Scott MacIntyre, and Lil Rounds. Out of the 8 contestants that night, these three were the most disappointing during the performace. Unfortunately, Scott MacIntyre received the lowest number of votes and was not saved by the judges.
Scott Douglas MacIntyre {born June 22, 1985 in Scottsdale, Arizona} is an American singer, sognwriter, and pianist. MacIntyre is visually impaired, and while not completely blind, he suffers from tunnel vision and has only a two-percent field of vision, both due to Leber's congenital amaurosis.
It is later revealed that Scott produced his first CD when he was eleven, and he has recorded five more CDs since then. In 2000, at the age of fifteen, he made his orchestral debut as he performed with the Phoenix Symphony as a guest piano soloist. In 2002 he competed in, and won, the Butterfield Young Artist Competition at ASU. In 2008, Scott won the VSA Arts 2008 Young Soloists Award. He recently has been accepted to both Oxford and Cambridge University for further graduate-level education.
Scott MacIntyre auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in Phoenix, Arizona. As of this year, MacIntyre is the first visually-impaired finalist on the show to get to Hollywood. Scott MacIntyre was eliminated on April 8, 2009 becoming the eighth place finalist of American Idol. We give him our best wishes in the music industry. He may not have won this year; however, big things are happening for him.
This week, our seven remaining finalists have a big task ahead. The two contestants who should really be prepared are Anoop Desai & Lil Rounds. Anoop Desai has been in the bottom 3 2xs in a row. He has been in the bottom 2 TWICE in 2 weeks. If Anoop doesn't improve this week, he's only one step close from being eliminated. Last week marked the first time Lil Rounds has been in the bottom 3. The fans are letting her know what they really thought of her performance. She really needs to step up on her game & find a song that will work to her advantage. Becuase she's not exactly the best singer out of Jennifer Hudson & Fantasia.
Until tonight's episode, all I can say is: break a leg!

HIdden Picture Response
Remember when I mentioned writer's block in my last blog? I've been scrolling through several blog sites looking for something to respond, until I found this picture in one of my searches. According to the guy who posted the picture, it's a way of relaxing for the holidays especially Spring Break.
Spring Break is only 24 hours away and already students are planning a full week of chilling out and having fun. I haven't seen kids this excited about no school time, since last summer. Spring Break is that time of the year to hunt for Easter eggs with your families, going out to parties, go over a friend's house for the afternoon, or just lie in bed and read a book. You can even spend the evenings blowing bubbles, like in the picture.
A picture speaks a thousand words, but I see two words in that picture: SPRING BREAK!!! Even guys like myself look forward to a little vacation every now and then. At least with all the free time for a week, it will give me a chance to find new ideas for blogs. I can spend afternoons watching a few movies or hanging out with my pals. On evenings, I can spend family night and do stuff together in our most joyous of moments. Spring Break will give us a chance to get together and just chill out {at least until Monday of course}.
A word of advice for all students. Time flows like an ocean in a storm, it never stops moving. So spend your time wisely and start making plans. No one likes to hear students talk about how they spent their vacation bed-ridden {it's very boring}. At least now and then, plan something exciting in your life. Get out of the house and do something fun. The greatest moment in your life you refuse to forget. Until monday, break a leg.
Anything Response
Do you ever had this feeling when you write a blog or an essay? You have a topic of what you want to write about, but you can't describe it well? That's a typical problem in writing papers: WRITER'S BLOCK!!! It's a curse when kids try to write a paper. They have the idea, they just can't plan it out.
Even guys like me get that feeling every now and then. I have about a million topics to write about for a blog, but I never seem to find a way to put it together. That's why I always write my ideas in little notebooks, so I won't let writer's block affect me. If I never need an idea, I just flip through the book and scroll down the list. It's a simple way of fighting writer's block, especially for students looking to get into journalism. The minute you have an idea, jog it down in a journal or whatever notebook you have. That way, even if you can't remember, the book will.
So remember, every curse can be broken. Writer's block is easy to control, as long as you never forget your ideas. There's always going to be a lot of editing with your ideas; however, the topic never dies. As long as you got that idea strong, there is nothing you can't imagine. Until I hear another story from you, break a leg.
Relaxation Response
Someone one mentioned that we don't seem to relax enough. Take me for instance. I know most of the time on weekends and holidays, I'm never the kind of guy who likes to settle down. I'm always getting off my feet with an urge to get out and do something. It's not that I wouldn't enjoy lying down in bed for awhile; I just always feel like doing something.
Even when there's nothing to do or nothing planned, I'm always trying to do something. Instead of just laying around staring at the wall, I can be reading a book or walk on a tread mill. Play on my Wii system once in awhile or even blog on my computer. At least I'm doing something or at least make plans for myself. In fact, just one phone call and I would be over at a friends house having fun.
But someday, maybe there will come a time to settle down. It's not the most exciting course of action for any day, I hardly enjoy it. But just kicking back and relaxing is like allowing a computer to charge or a cell phone. Instead of overworking the system, give it time to charge and just relax.
Mrs. Stoklosa is right about relaxation, we don't have enough of it. Let nature take it's course, chill out for awhile, and even fluff that pillow a bit. take a chance to reboot, and you'll be well rested for a new day. Just don't spend your time like a couch potato because that's just being lazy. Until next time, break a leg.
American Idol Update
This week on American Idol, our top 9 finalists had to sing one of Itunes top 100 songs. Our contestants did a fair job performing some of the songs, though most of the competition didn't really pull through at all. Our bottom three contestants that same week were Anoop Desai, Allison Iraheta, and Megan Joy. While their performances weren't exactly terrible {except Joy's}, their songs failed to impress the judges that same night. Ironically, this wouldn't be the first time Allison has ended up in the bottom three. But the contestant going home that night with the lowest number of votes was: Megan Joy.
Megan Joy Corkrey is a singer from Sandy, Utah who came to American Idol as a graduate from Taylorsville High School in Taylorsville, Utah. Joy auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is known for her good looks, strange dance moves, quirky personality, unique voice, and a fairytale sleeve tattoo. Judge Kara DioGuardi has described her as "having a way of putting her signature on everything she does." DioGuardi mentioned on an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" that Megan Joy was one of her two favorite singers in the competition, and Simon Cowell has also expressed numerous times that she is one of his favorites.
Megan Joy was voted off on the April 1 show. Upon being sent into the bottom three before being eliminated, Megan squawked like a bird as she made her way into her seat, prompting laughter from the other contestants. As an aside, she also stated that she didn't care that Simon Cowell had not liked her performance on the previous evening. Cowell later announced that the judge's panel would not save her and thus her encore performance of "Turn Your Lights Down Low" would be her "swan song" on the show. Joy had never been in the Bottom 3 prior to her elimination.
Now another contestant has left and then there were 8. These 8 finalists have now made it to sing for at least another week. There's no guarantee that their luck will hold since the show votes based on audience. But if any contestant should be more prepared next time are Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta. In order to stay in the competition they must pick the correct song, a song that they will feel most comfortable. Otherwise, the next time they are sent to the bottom 3, neither of them will be lucky. For luck is like a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a chocolate coating, sprinkled with mint, and topped with strawberries... it don't last forever. Until next week, break a leg.

American Idol Update 2
Last week, while the Cypress Bay idol contestants wowed the fans with their performance, American Idol was hitting off in Detroit, Michigan with standard Motown classics. The start of the Summer tour began when our 10 finalists made their way to the home of the Ford models. Last week, our contestants were asked to perform Motown classics from the past. Some went far with their stunning performances, while others were flat.
For most of the competition, at least a few of the contestants put forth an incredible display of talent. All the ovation goes to Allison T., who really wowed with the audience with her hard rock version of a classic Motown hit. At 16 too! But for some of the competition, such as Michael Sarver, Lil Rounds, and Megan Joy, the audience were not really satisfied. In fact, most of the rotten performance came from Joy herself, who's song choice just didn't fit her personality. But in the end, the contestant going home that night was: MICHAEL SARVER!!!
In the beginning, Jeremy Michael Sarver was an oil rig worker from Jaspar, Texas, who wrote over 890 songs for himself at the age of 14. During the first few weeks of American Idol, Sarver was able to gain enough votes to advance, even beating Anoop Desai at one point. But in the end, when the judges failed to reach a unanimous decision, Michael Sarver was sent packing. We shall all miss the country star and wish his the best in the music industry.
Now 9 finalists have been selected to move on. Tune in tonight at 8 pm when American Idol deliversy you with new music and new surprises. Tune in tomorrow night to find out whether your votes for your favorite idols pay off. Also expect a special appearance by former American Idol, David Cook. Until tonight at 8 pm, break a leg!

Monsters vs. Aliens Review
From the company that brought you "Shrek," "Kung-Fu Panda," and "Madagascar," comes Dreamworks' exciting motion picture, "Monsters vs. Aliens." The story is about a young bride, Susan, who through a meteor grows to incredible size and transported to a secret location where monsters are kept locked up.
Some of these monsters include: Insectosaurus, the small grub who grew to tremendous size through radiation, The Missing Link, the mythic sea monster found frozen in ice, Dr. Cockroach, a brilliant scientist-turned-cockroach after an experiment gone wrong, and B.O.B., an indestructable substance with no brain!
When an Alien race invades the earth, the monsters are given the opportunity of a lifetime to save the world and prove why they are more than just... monsters. It's a movie about accepting others as the way the are and that teamwork always saves the day.
The movie itself is more than just a ragtag group of monsters fighting an advanced alien race, it's a well-created film from a talented company. The visual effects and computer technology reallygive the film it's real appearance. In fact, whenever B.O.B. eats something, you can literally see the substance float in the gel or dissolve before your eyes.
The characters created were all inspired by classic monster films from the past. These variety of films include: "Creature from the Black Lagoon," "The Fly," "The Blob," and "Independance Day." Without these movies, we would not have the characters Dreamworks has created.
But this characters would not be complete without it's stunning cast. Some of the cast members include Seth Rogan {B.O.B.}, making this his 2nd Dreamworks movie, Hugh Laurie {Dr. Cockroach}, who we all remember as 'House', and introducing Reese Witherspoon as Susan aka Ginormica. These cast mates were not selected because they are favorites to Dreamworks. These actors and actresses were selected because they possessed the talents for these roles to literally become the characters. That's what makes Dreamworks movies enjoyable to watch, selecting the right cast for these roles.
Based on the knowledge and the facts, I hereby give "Monsters vs. Aliens" a 4-5. While the comic lines were well made, there's always one minor issue. The one issue I would give is that the story is almost predictable yet still enjoyable. All and all, I enjoyed the film especially in 3D at the Imax Theater. If your all looking forward to a family picture with lots of laughs, Monsters vs. Aliens is the one for you. Until I here from you next time, break a leg!

Cypress Bay Idol Results
On March 26th, 2009, Cypress Bay Idol made it's triumphant return for it's seventh season in history. It was a night of old contestants against a new generation. Sixteen finalists were chosen to perform for the fans, five were selected to advance, and only one walked out of Cypress Bay idol as the winner. Cypress Bay Idol 7 was a night unlike anything we've ever seen.
Originally 18 contestants made it through auditions to get to this year's idol. But the road to Cypress Bay idol is never easy. After making it to CB Idol, our contestants had to select two songs of their choice. The first song had to be edited for 2 minutes in the first round. The other can go to it's full length should a contestant be chosen to get to the finals.
But song choice was only the beginning. For 2 contestants, they would not make it to this year's idol. The first to leave was Cypress Bay Idol favorite, Damian Barra. Damian was looking forward to performing for the last time in Cypress Bay. Unfortunately, Damian suffered an illness that left him bed-ridden just days before the show and was forced to drop off. Another contestant, Sam Salerno, dropped off on her own accord. She could not handle the pressure of practicing for CB Idol and working on "Ragtime," coming in May. Ironically, most of the contestants this year are all set to appear in "Ragtime," one of Broadway's well-known productions. It just goes to show if you are not dedicated to stick with the program no matter what, there's no point in auditioning.
As mentioned before, sixteen contestants made it to CB Idol. Some really got the momentum going throughout the show, others fell under the pressure. It would take the fourth performance of Cypress Bay Junior, Bryce Lucas, until the show finally started to kick in. Out of sixteen contestants, five kids were selected based on audience vote. The five lucky contestants were: Nicole Urbano, Raven Barnes, Brittany DiStefino, Megan Angela Rodriguez, and Dan Suarez, the only male out of the five finalists.
These contestants may have been picked by their friends and family, but to me they were selected by talent {that's how I vote}. In the end, the final verdict had been made for this year. Raven Barnes & Dan Suarez were tied for second place. The winner of this year's Cypress Bay Idol was: MEGAN RODRIGUEZ!!!
Megan showed just why she deserved to be a Cypress Bay Idol. In the beginning, she auditioned along with her brother, Massimo, who also made it to this year's idol. The Rodriguez team worked hard to show that they deserved to be up there as Cypress Bay Idol stars. In the end, the sister of the family reigned supreme in the Rodriguez team, becoming this year' s Cypress Bay Idol!!!
All the contestants deserve a big round-of-applause for their smashing performances. Some really tried to win audience votes, while others put their practice to good use. We thank all the people in the audience for coming & supporting the contestants who never gave up on their dream. A new day dawns coming next year. Who knows who will make it to Cypress Bay Idol? Will we see the return of our favorite contestants? Or will a new generation take the stage? Tomorrow is another day. Until then, break a leg.

American Idol Results
On March 18th, 2009, eleven finalists of American Idol stepped forth and only ten made it through to the Summer Tour. This week, our contestants were chosen to sing some country numbers based on tthe award-winning talent at the "Grand Ole Opry." Our special guest for the evening was noneother than Randy Travis, an award winning country singer who was inducted into the "Grand Ole Opry." Most of the competition performed some great numbers for the fans. But the same could not be said for our 11th place finalist: Alexis Grace.
Born on June 9, 1987 from Memphis, Tennessee, Alexis Grace was a stay-at-home mom who auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky with the song Doctor Feelgood by Motley Crue. Ironically, Alexis Grace auditioned twice previously for American Idol, without making it to Hollywood. Grace currently has a young daughter and is engaged to marry the child's father. After her Top 36 performance, Simon Cowell compared her to Kelly Clarkson, former finalist from Season One who won that same year. Unfortunatetly, Alexis Grace would not go on to the Summer Tour. Between her and Michael Sarver, another contestant in American Idol, Sarver moved on while Grace was eliminated and sent home. Now our ten finalists have been determined and now we move on to the Summer Tour next week.
That night marked another grand appearance from former American Idol: Carrie Underwood. After winning American Idol in Season 4, Underwood changed from a farm girl to the hip sensation in the music industry. Now she has been selected to join Dolly Parton and Randy Travis into the "Grand Ole Opry." For that special night, Underwood along with Travis performed a special duet with a grand reception. Things are looking big for Underwood; let's hope it goes the same for the others.
Be sure to tune in next week for the Summer Tour as the ten finalists once again attempt to prove why they should be the next American Idol. Also be sure to tune in for another exciting edition of "Cypress Bay Idol," coming in March 26 at 7 pm. 18 will perform, five will move to the finals, and one will be the winner. Come to the show and choose who you would like to be the next Cypress Bay Idol. Until next time: BREAK A LEG!!!

SYTYCD Season 1 {CBH Edition} Result
While Cypress Bay waits for the next "Cypress Bay Idol" to arrive next week, the fans were awed when they were introduced to a new show based on the popular reality TV series. "So you Think You Can Dance" inspired people around the world to show that they have the best moves and proved exactly why they can dance. Tonight, Cypress Bay decided to deliver their own edition with smashing results.
A selected number of applicants were chosen and separated into solos and groups. Each solo dancer and group were to perform their dance in their own form in front of a jam-packed audience. Based on the approval of the judges and the reactions of the fans, the winners would be selected by Cypress Bay's own: Brittany DiStefino and Sam Salerno {who will both play a role in 'Ragtime' coming this May}.
This year marked a grand debut. A lot of talent and effort were made to show why these kids have talent. The solos were fantastic and the groups literally put their heart and soul into their routines. But in the end, only one solo dancer and one group would be nominated as this years Dance Champions.
Tonight, our own Ragtime cast member, Andrew Bernard, was announced the winner thanks to his Robot-like dance moves and smooth sense of style. Following behind was runner-up, Damian Barra, whose skill in ballet wowed us from the first-to-second round. Damian is scheduled to perfrom for Cypress Bay Idol starting next week. He may not have won the first season of our new dance show, but he may have better luck in CB Idol. Break a leg pal... break a leg.
Our group for tonight also wowed us this year. The group known as "Oh Man" would go on to beat the "Koalas" for best group routine. With their colorful outfits and some dance moves to boot, these girls proved why they deserved to be the name the first group to win So You Think You Can Dance.
It was memorable night for all of Cypress Bay tonight. Not only was the cast a smash, but also the audience participation showed us the future of a new generation of dancers. Ten dancers were chosen and only one girl, a sixth grader from Falcon Cove, stood tall. Big things are definetly in store for her and lets hope it's for better and not the other-way-around.
Stay tuned for news on Cypress Bay Idol, coming next thursday at 7 pm. Till then... Break a leg!!!

Elevator Psychology Response
While psychology is not part of my agenda in life, I do agree that there is some involved when it comes to elevator rides. It's true that it's the one place where you will meet people until they leave to their pin-pointed destination. Plus, there is a lot of influence based on someone's actions. I happen to know because whenever my family and I take a trip to some hotel or timeshare, we would usually take the elevator to get to our floor. Sometimes, we run into people who we only get to know for a minimal amount of time. Some are just minding their own business; others just looking for the time of their life. You can actually tell a lot about a person based on how they look or what their here for. But then, we never take that into account when we ride the elevator to the top floor of the Ritz.
Psychology is around us and none of us seem to be aware of that. It's amazing how it feels when your in an elevator with complete strangers and you just have the urge to want to know them. Who knows, if they were to make a film based on a couple of strangers trapped in an elevator and learning about each other during the process of the film, that would be neat. It worked in "The Breakfast Club" when a bunch of kids spent a whole saturday in detention {no elevators unfortunately}. We can't determine how that would work now, but an idea is a good start.
Would you look at that, a whole blog and Jack Nicholson doesn't have to be mentioned in this. But then again, let's not get our hopes on that. Until next time, BREAK A LEG!!!

So I'm checking out some blog sites, hoping to get some inside scoop on the latest world news. Soon I come across this one blog about a new update for Google. Supposedly, this new system {I believe he calls it a 'Chrome'} is rumored to improve the way we use Google and how we search for topics.
I'm not much of a computer expert to be honest; however, if this works it changes everything. Who knows what this will do in the way we use computers? Honestly, it's like every year or so a new update is automatically added to Google. All I can say is that this update must be extremely valuable and of importance to make such a big deal. All I can say to that is: BREAK A LEG!!!

It figures Reponse
On the day that event happened, I had no idea a student asked my teacher such a question. When she does admit that she would listen to the National public Radio, the student responds by claiming, "It Figures." That's some appreciation that is. You give a student an answer based on your own thoughts and that's the response you get.
Just because you like to listen to intellectual radio broadcasts, doesn't make it uncool. If we all like a rock station, everything would be black-and-white. No one is ever the same as the other. If a person likes to listen to the NPR station, that's what she likes.
Take me for instance, it makes no difference as to what station I listen to. I can listen to stations from "101.5 Light FM" and it wouldn't make such a difference. What I listen on the radio is whatever suits my tastes. If it's music that I can enjoy, whether by Josh Grobin or any radio singer or even "Phone Tap" now and then, at least I enjoy it. So next time you say "it figures," I suggest that you think how other people feel for a change. Your just listening to Radio Station AMT with all the info on internet responses and actors information. Tune in later for the latest CBHS announcements and American Idol result.

Where did the music go?
Today in class, we were given a chance for extra credit if we were to discuss a certain number of topics for class. For one topic, Mrs. Stoklosa expressed haw music just isn't the way it used to be. How the music we are listening to just does not have the feeling it once had and the fact that not a lot of albums are sold. Is it true that music has changed for the worse? Did that message that music sends suddenly died down in this generation? That is a matter we must discuss.
In this generation, it's all about today's jam. That's why we see so many artists with fancy suits, new instruments, and a whole lot of egos. In this time period, it's never about the music it's more about remaking the old classics and turning into something fresh. Nowadays, the music we listen to doesn't send a message to someone or express a matter of importance. In fact, our society doesn't care about it anymore. All they want is entertainment. So they get their entertainment now, but is it really worth it in the end?
Now I know some music companies make their money just by remaking music. But what happens when people stop buying their albums? Nowadays, this generation can download their music for free and would never have to buy a CD. But it seems we are forgetting just one thing. The only reason bands are still here is because they get money if more albums are sold. It's like their fans don't appreciate their music anymore and if they did how can they show it? Sure you can collect a ton of posters, sure you can use them in a YouTube video, and you can go to their concerts once in a while. But what happens when they can't afford to do those things anymore. We need their music if we want that entertainment and we can only blame ourselves for their problems.
I don't want music to just disappear. If you truly love music it shouldn't just be because it's purely isn't about the message. I know music that sends a message don't make a lot, but at least it means something for the message itself. Music is one of our greatest treasures; however, it feels like we're throwing it all away for nothing. Music should come from the heart and not from another artist. I know it will take some time to realize that, but if we work hard then it just might work. Music means a lot for some people and we need all the help we can get to make our generation memorable. Until there is a solution, all we can do is hope.

American Idol Update
For those who were just watching American idol this week, this week was full of surprises. After 13 contestants were chosen to perform in the biggest season yet, they knew the road was not going to be easy. Each contestant had to prove why they deserve to stay and be the next idol. But for two unlucky contestants, that dream would come to an end.
This week, our 13 contestants had to sing to the beat from one of the greatest entertainers there was, Michael Jackson. Each contestant selected a song either from the pop star himself or from groups he has worked with hence "Jackson Five." A few of our contestants actually proved to have some talent, including Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Michael Sarver, Scott MacIntyre, and even a young Allison {only sixteen years old}. But for some contestants, they didn't get much satisfaction from our judges.
Yesterday, when it finally came down to determine who would go on and who would stay, the results finally came up. But there was a new rule for this year's American Idol. The judges, only by a unanimous decision, can save a contestant if he or she will be eliminated. But last night, it wasn't the case for either young Jasmine or Jorge from Puerto Rico.
At sixteen years old, Jasmine came to American Idol with a big smile on her face. As the youngest of three daughters, she wanted to show her mother that this was her dream. However, when it came down to her and fellow constant, Megan Joyer, young Jasmine left in tears when she was the first finalist to leave American Idol.
Born in Puerto Rico, Jorge came from a small island with big dreams. Jorge came to American Idol to prove that in this small island, there is one talented individual who feels it's his time to shine. While his performance was impressive last night, it came down to him and Anoop Dasai to determine who would be the next to leave American Idol. Unfortunately for this small islander, Puerto Rico's votes weren't enough and he was the 2nd contestant to leave.
Now I had my share of disagreements about the results last night. Megan, one of the contestants, didn't really do well on her own performance. No offense but the only reason that she stayed this week was because her looks got her through. She didn't had the best vocals, but surprisingly everyone liked her personality and her charming moves. But I have a feeling she won't last too long in American Idol.
For Anoop Dasai, it's been an up-and-down roller coaster for this young contestant. Before he was announced as a finalist he was eliminated because apparently he didn't give it his best. But when the judges announced they would give a few contestants another chance during the "Wild Card" show, he was selected as the 13th finalist and that's how it changed from 12 to 13. Anoop should consider himself very lucky that he will stay for another week. If he wants to prove that he deserves to be on American Idol, he needs to find a better song and add some style into his performance. Otherwise, all his hopes and dreams will soon come to an end.
All and all, the show had it's moments this week. In fact, the fans even got a special surprise appearance by the first American Idol herself, Kelly Clarkson. Now that we are down to just eleven contestants, these people need to really put on their best this time. I will suggest that for these contestants, you have to choose the RIGHT song. You must find a song that fits your style and you must be comfortable with it. If you only choose a song because it's your favorite and your performance turns out poor, then you have to prove you haven't had enough. The competition dwindles fast, so you have to prove that you can stay strong and deserve to have your own album. Until next week, break a leg.

Astronauts Response
After looking over one blog on Astronauts, I knew this guy made an excellent point on that topic. It's like he mentioned earlier, tens of thousands of people dream of going up in space yet only a few are chosen. Sometimes, a person will train from ten to even twenty years and still won't go up there. Because let me tell you something, an Astronaut's job is more than just walking on the moon.
If you really want to be an Astronaut, you have to be prepared both mentally and physically. Astronauts are always in training for these deep space missions. At one point, Astronauts take their training in the water because that's what it feels like in Space. Those space suits they put on are extremely heavy, very hard to walk. You have to have the strength just to walk on the moon. You think what Neil Armstrong did was easy, you have no idea.
Not to mention, Astronauts are always repairing satellites just for our benefits. One fatal mistake could ultimately cut us off from communication of all sorts. Astronauts will even build bigger space centers in space so we can find a way to study about our solar system and beyond. If someone cuts a scratch in their suit or if they visor is cracked, those astronauts are as good as gone. They have to always be ready for such a calamity, so NASA doesn't hire just anybody.
An Astronauts life is hard unless you really want to prove that you are dedicated enough to take those risks. But let me just be the next to tell you, space is no walk in the park. You must be in top physical condition to walk around in those space suits and you must always be in constant focus especially on space missions. An astronaut must always be prepared, especially if they are coming back to Earth and their ship might explode. There's no proof that states you can make it as an Astronaut unscathed. But if you have the heart and the tenacity to go through these missions and training, then may god be with you. The greatest mission of your life begins the moment you are strapped into that rocket.

Brittany Spears Response
Who can say what they truly feel about Brittany Spears? To me, the answer of an opinion on an actor or actress is always on even terms. Some fans enjoy the artist for reasons unanimous. Whether it's the way they dress or the message they try to send to the fans. Though I would enjoy an artist if I love the music. Then again, you can't please everyone. Some fans have reasons not to like artists like Brittany Spears.
For instance, let's all look back at life of this well-known pop star. When Brittany Spears first arrived in the music business, she arrived a t a very young age. Since she released her hit song "Hit Me Baby One More Time," she became the hit sensation of the decade. She was a teen when all of this happened. But as they say in show business, hence "The Dream Girls," fame always has a price.
As a teen, Brittany Spears would never have a normal life. Everywhere she went she was followed by annoying paparazzi with numerous questions on her personal life. Soon, Brittany Spears would reach her breaking point. She began going insane, shaving her head for reasons unknown, having several relationships with different men, and having lots of kids. But who could forget that one fatal performance, when Brittany Spears was asked to perform for some special event. Unfortunately for her, she not only was not dressed for this special night, she actually forget her words!!! How could a fan look forward to an artist who forgets the words to her own song?!
Above all else, I don't personally have issues with Brittany Spears. I mean no matter how crazy her life was, she did have her moments in the music world. That's why she is releasing her new albums, to prove that the world should never forget Brittany Spears. It's like she is really trying to prove she still has what it takes. I can only hope that whatever happens to her, it would be on good terms. Otherwise, it would be a fatal career ending loss should Brittany Spears lose it big time. Break a leg.

Are You Weary Response
It's true that in life we take certain likings to things too soon. Say for example, your father just used the last of his earnings to buy you a cell phone. Not the fanciest of phones, but a cell phone nonetheless. Then, several days later, you decide to go for a walk in the mall. But then you stop, noticing behind the display case a BRAND NEW cellphone, with touch screen action, a ton of minutes, a G.P.S., advanced text methods, and more. At that moment, reality smacks you in the face as you realize you would trade away a phone your parent worked hard to get you over something fancy and expensive.
Such phones that we see in the mall are needful things. In a way, they are entirely useless if your just going to throw it away for a new one. The problem in our country is that we don't appreciate the stuff we already have. I also believe that people are taking a fancy to new things too quickly. Our folks worked hard to get the stuff we have now, so we must learn to treasure the things we got and not waste it away on junk. It's not just old stuff that your parents simply picked randomly. That gift came from the heart and they believed you deserved it. But of they were to see you now, they have no reason to believe you deserve anything... not even love.
So the point I'm trying to make is that we must appreciate what we have now. The future can wait for another day, that's we treasure the present. If you decide to buy something, be sure it's something you are going to treasure for the rest of your life. Otherwise, your not only selling out the people who were giving to you, your selling out on yourself. Think about that.

Cypress Bay Idol Announcement
You heard correct, ladies and gentleman, Cypress Bay Idol will be coming soon to Cypress Bay this month. Cypress Bay Idol has made history by choosing the most talented individuals to compete in this annual singing competition. Contestants select a 2 minute song or an edited music score to perform, then you in the audience get to decide who was the best or who you enjoyed the most. The top 5 get to perform in the final round with a full-length song and it's up to you to decide who should be the winner.
Now Cypress Bay Idol is willing to make history once again, with a new batch of contestants and a few surprise veterans. This year's CB Idol line-up includes several students from AMT including Raven Barres, Brittany DiStefano, Heather Edelman, William McKell, Dee Quintero, Jonathan Yepez, and Bryce Lucas. Also making his CB Idol return is Damian Barra who has been a runner-up in previous CB Idols and hopes to be the next Idol this year.
These students have worked hard to prove why they deserve to be an Idol. They are willing to prove why they are not to be overlooked. CB Idol is looking for talent from these kids and we need your help to determine who earns it. CB Idol is scheduled to make it's arrival on March 26th at 7 pm. Remember, Cypress Bay needs you to decide, the future is in your hands.

Random Repsonse
According to "perspective difference" on the blog site, the author proved a point when he mention that life doesn't come easy. The best things in life our great if you are willing to fight for it. Yet some choose to give up because a few feel that it's pointless. Take me for instance. I have battled and lost to make an impact in AMT. I have struggled and won a role in a play just to be on stage again. AMT has been my favorite class since 8th grade, where I made my theatrical debut in Falcon Cove. In my books, if there's something you or someone you want to be the only thing standing in your way is yourself. If your not willing to push yourself to the limits, to belch out those high notes or do things you never thought you could, then the stage just isn't meant for you.
Aluminum Pedals Response
Now after observing the pictures of the OEM Aluminum Pedals, I did a dash of research on the pedals and the materials. Looking up on one website, I have come to learn that the OEM Aluminum Pedals are an example of brands of components {fancy items in particular}. For instance, Mark Levinson audio is used in Lexus vehicles. Also, major tire manufactures have produced a line of OEM tires that are factory-installed as standard equipment on many vehicles. They even make expensive components such as the pedals in order to give the driver higher performance.
So I can conclude that the Aluminums are more than just something to look at. It's a component just like every part you see on a car. If you choose it because it looks great than your merely wasting your money with the way the economy is. But if you selected these components because you feel they can help improve your car performance than by all means be my guest. All I can suggest is to use it wisely.

Wii Madness Response
I know how someone would feel about video games. For the majority of most gamers, video games are difficult. The design team behind video games create these challenges to test the players physical, mental, and emotional limits. They pit the player through a grueling challenge of repetitive dancing on D.D.R., test the players mental reflexes with memory games on the Nintendo D.S., and if a game is really hard it can frustrate even the most skilled of gamers.
Having a Nintendo Wii of my own, I speak from experience. I own a game called "Wii Sports," which puts me in the position of a sports player. That would include Boxing, Baseball, Tennis, and Golf. It takes great skill and proper hand motions just to get the ball farther. The hardest I have ever done was Golf. It can be frustrating when you can't hit the ball straight or if you can't swing it right. It makes me crazy!!
Yet despite the frustrations, game can be fun at the same time. Sometimes, even the most grueling games can prove to have its positive sides. When you play Wii Sports it actually builds up those muscles in your arms. Games like the Fitness series serves to help improve your lower abdominals, thin legs, and only in a matter of hours. Think of hard games as like a Vocab test, "Never let it frustrate you and you'll always make it through." So remember, don't fall victim to the madness.

Featuring the talented peformances by Jessie Hoffman {Dorothy}, Don Ackerman {Cowardly Lion}, James Portalatin {Tin Man}, Andy Hermann {Scarecrow}, Lori Berger {Wicked Witch}, Bonnie Branston {Glindo}, and introducing Jack Sigman as the Wizard of Oz.
Performance will start on April 24th and will go on till May 17th. Friday & Saturday performance at 8 pm with a Sunday show at 1 pm. All performances will take place over at Plantation High. Be sure to tell all your friends and family to come and support Broward on Broadway.
It's a one way trip down the Yellow Brick Road with dancing munchkins, special effects, and dazzling music. As Judy Garland says, "You'll get the feeling your not in Kansas anymore."

Relationship Tale
If you want to talk about relationships, boy do I have tales to tell you. Where I come from, I'm known as everyone's favorite "Ladies Man." I make friends with girls, hang out at their homes, eat lunch with a few, even go to class with them.
But there is one girl that I really enjoy hanging with the most. Her name is: Amber, a cuban or puerto rican girl I met back during my Sophmore year. She's smart, yet occassionally quiet. She is charming girl, but really shy. She's never had a lot of friends and she's never fit in with a group. In a way, she reminds me of myself.
After awhile, we got to know each other and we became the best of friends. Going over her house, I learned that she is a REAL fan of disney, always dreaming of moving to Orlando to work there. She's also an artist in her own opinion, drawing her own characters, making her own stories, and she has her own way of giving them that personality. I just know she's going to make it big when she makes impact in Orlando.
As the months pass, I start to have certain feelings for that girl. There's something about her that makes me feel that I can float in the air. In my dreams, I envision those warm, starry nights of Amber & me. I know we try to be more than friends, but I soon feel that we may be more than friends. Amber is not like the other girls, I love this girl more than she realizes. No matter where she goes or what she sees, she will never leave my memory and will always stay in my heart.

Ghost Through a Brick Wall Observation
Watching the YouTube video, I carefully observed the footage to determine the possible answer. While it did look human, the statistics show that it's possibly the frosty air flowing against the wall. It's impossible to see if it was a ghost. I'm no expert when it comes to ghosts, but if you were to ask someone from Ghost Hunters, experts on paranormal activity, they'll give you an analysis. Some people have one opinion, all different from the other. In my opinion, I say: HOAX.
A Call to Action Response
After watching the video of Obama's speech, I can tell he's trying to ahrd to bring change to our country. The first thing he's trying to do is to give everyone a chance for a college education. I can clearly see what our president has planned to do.
He believes that the American community should strive for a college education. I don't blame the guy. In order to achieve the most successful jobs on the planet, it takes a college education to earn that job. If students work hard and take a trip to college, they'll get the majors needed to get the job they always wanted. Whether it involves the study of medicine, government, or even a job as a teacher like our hardworking, Mrs. Stoklosa.
On the other hand, you don't really need a college education for a job. College is optional and it depends on how the man or woman feels about it. They may not need to go to college for the job they have in mind or they choose not to attend. After all, this is America, a free country I quote.
Obama is merely suggesting that students should really strive to earn the college education they deserve. However, like in American Idol, the judges only make the suggestions. The people chooses what to do, especially when college is involved. It's their life, it's the choices they make that affect their future.
